October 15, 2021
foodFIRST has partnered with the Netherland Food Partnership for an inclusive and creative programme in celebration of World Food Day on Friday 15 October 2021. This event promises to be a unique and inspiring hybrid (online and physical) gathering for food and agricultural professionals. Youth involvement is prioritised as 50% of the targeted audience will comprise young people below the age of 35. Streaming live from Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, we will take a fresh look at three crucial food system challenges with inspiring food pioneers from around the world such as Lawrence Haddad, Vivian Opondoh and Charles Michel.
These discussions around the three challenges range from the meaning of Enabling healthy and sustainable food choices in an unequal food system, to the potential of advanced Digitalisation for entrepreneurial food actors, and ways to achieve a Living income for all.
